A state-level tennis player, Radhika Yadav, was shot dead by her father Deepak Yadav in Gurugram. The incident occurred on July 10th, which was her mother’s birthday. According to police sources, the motive behind the murder was the father’s disapproval of Radhika making Instagram reels and running a tennis academy. Deepak Yadav fired five bullets at his daughter, three of which hit her. The 25-year-old victim was a well-known player who had competed in national and international tournaments. The police have arrested the father and seized his licensed pistol.
