Former Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani’s mortal remains have been identified through DNA matching following the crash of Air India flight AI-171 in Ahmedabad. Full state honours are being accorded, with current CM Bhupendra Bhai Patel paying tribute. The funeral procession is underway in Ahmedabad, after which the body will be flown to Rajkot for the last rites.
