Morris Samuel Christian, a 37-year-old man, was arrested by the Ahmedabad police for running a fraudulent arbitration tribunal from 2019 to 2024. He deceived clients into believing he was a legitimate judge, passing fake orders and defrauding clients. His operation was based in an office in Gandhinagar, designed to resemble a courtroom. He targeted individuals with ongoing land disputes, promising to resolve their cases for a fee. The fraud was exposed after Civil Judge Hardik Desai filed a complaint.
