Cricketer Musheer Khan’s rise to the national conscience has been meteoric, so it is no surprise that he is set for his IPL debut soon too.
The young Mumbai all-rounder and brother of India international Sarfaraz Khan opened up on his rise in an interview with Republic.
Musheer talks about how he felt when Punjab Kings bid for him in the auction as well as the team’s big plans.
He praised new head coach Ricky Ponting and skipper Shreyas Iyer, backing them to lead PBKS to bigger and better things.
He also talked about why he was focused on breaking into the Test team even in the midst of the IPL.
The youngster gets candid about his cricketing journey while promising that more is to come.
