In this exclusive interview with Republic, Humpy reveals how her bad form over the past few months led to her contemplating retirement – before she decided she did not want to quit amid a string of poor form.
Humpy also spoke about the influence her family has on her career and how the support from her father and husband has given her the freedom to keep playing chess.
