On Day 2 of his visit to Poland, Prime Minister Narendra Modi received a ceremonial welcome in Warsaw on Thursday, after which he is scheduled to hold bilateral talks with his counterpart Donald Tusk. He is also scheduled to meet President Andrzej Sebastian Duda to discuss India-Poland ties. After concluding his Poland visit, PM Modi will head to Ukraine later in the day. This will be the first visit by an Indian Prime Minister to Ukraine after the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries in 1992. The Prime Minister’s engagements in Kyiv will touch a range of aspects of bilateral ties including political, trade, economic, investments, education, cultural, people-to-people exchanges, humanitarian assistance and others. During his visit, PM Modi will also interact with the Indian community, including students.
