The DNA of former Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, who was on the Air India 171 flight that crashed, has been matched. His mortal remains will be handed over to his family. The last rites are to be performed in Rajkot, though the exact timing is yet to be decided. The state government will follow protocol for the ex-chief minister’s funeral, but the final arrangements will be decided by the family.
