Vijay launched a strong attack on M. K. Stalin during a rally in Perambur, calling the current government “evil forces” and raising concerns about public safety.
He questioned whether people feel safe and happy under the DMK government over the past five years. Vijay said safety is more important than even basic needs like food and water.
Vijay has filed his nomination from Perambur and may also contest from Trichy, targeting key DMK strongholds. His manifesto promises a drug-free, corruption-free Tamil Nadu and better safety for women and children.
On the same day, M. K. Stalin filed his nomination from Kolathur. Other leaders like Seeman and Aadhavan Arjuna also entered the race as Tamil Nadu elections officially begin.
