The Enforcement Directorate has filed 193 cases against politicians, including MPs and MLAs, between 2015 and 2025. Only two convictions have been secured, with no acquittals. The ED cites delays in predicate offence cases as a reason for the slow progress. Out of 7,000 total cases, 193 involve politicians. The agency claims a 93% conviction rate in 47 completed trials overall.
