West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has launched a scathing attack on the Union Government following Enforcement Directorate (ED) raids at the IPAC headquarters and the residence of its co-founder, Pratik Jain. The Chief Minister personally visited the raid sites in Kolkata, allegedly retrieving documents during the ongoing operation. Banerjee accused the central agency of acting as a political tool for the BJP to access the Trinamool Congress’s (TMC) confidential campaign strategies and candidate lists ahead of the 2026 assembly elections.
