External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar has appreciated the counter-terrorism cooperation with the United States following Tahawwur Rana’s extradition. Rana, a plotter of the 26/11 Mumbai attack, has been handed over to the Ministry of External Affairs. The US Department of Justice documents reveal 10 charges against Rana, including murder and commission of terror acts. This marks the first official response from the Indian government on Rana’s extradition.
