Hosted by the Indian Army from October 14-16, the event convened senior military leaders from 32 nations to deliberate on operational challenges, emerging threats, interoperability, and the integration of technology in UN missions, reflecting the ancient Indian ethos of "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam" (the world is one family).
As the third-largest contributor to UN peacekeeping with over 170 Indian soldiers having sacrificed their lives under the blue flag, Jaishankar’s address highlighted India’s unwavering commitment to multilateralism, gender-inclusive operations, and capacity-building initiatives like the Centre for United Nations Peacekeeping (CUNPK), alongside keynote speeches from Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and UN Under-Secretary-General Jean-Pierre Lacroix.
