According to the country’s official news agency, the action follows continuous monitoring of digital platforms amid regional developments. The UAE claims that clips with projectiles on the ground were fabricated using artificial intelligence, and that these fake videos were spreading anxiety among the public and exploiting children’s emotions. The nationalities of the accused have not been revealed. The crackdown comes as Iran continues strikes on UAE infrastructure, with missile debris causing damage to buildings. The UAE government maintains that these videos were harming the country’s reputation and causing panic, though questions remain about whether the action targets fabricated content or any documentation of strike damage.
