He stated that ‘no disruption has been experienced’ due to Iran’s constitutional provisions for a leadership council. Dr. Seyed Emamian emphasized that Iran’s three branches of government continue operating independently. Addressing Iranian missile strikes on Israeli cities and locations across the Middle East including Bahrain, Kuwait, and Doha, he described the retaliation as ‘very much regional, as it was expected since the first minute.’ He characterized the military response as an ‘inevitable response to an existential threat’ rather than a choice, stating that countries hosting US or Israeli bases would be ‘legitimate target for retaliatory operation.’ Dr. Seyed Emamian acknowledged political disagreements within Iranian society but asserted the country remains unified in defending national sovereignty and territorial integrity.
