US President Donald Trump praised his trade deal with India and his good relationship with Prime Minister Modi, whom he called tough and a fighter. He also complimented Pakistan’s Prime Minister and their Field Marshal as a great fighter. Trump claimed he knew both leaders well and that seven planes were shot down during their conflict—two nuclear-armed countries on the brink of war. He said he called Modi and threatened to cancel the trade deal unless they stopped fighting, and did the same with Pakistan. Both sides initially wanted to fight, but after two days, they agreed to stop. Trump boasted that Biden couldn’t have done it.
