US President Donald Trump met Israel’s PM Benjamin Netanyahu. After Oman’s nuclear conference on 6th February 2026, there was an expectation to expand ties with Iran, but no agreement has been finalised yet.
Trump has stated to continue negotiations with Tehran, but he will decide if the deal is to be made or not. He posed a hint that if the diplomatic dialogue fails, the result would be harsh for the Middle East. Netanyahu remains concerned about Israel’s security amidst the US-Iran bilateral ties. Both leaders had a two and a half hour long conversation, but no crucial decision was announced.
