Washington DC: US President Doanld Trump on Wednesday made an announcement stating that the country will soon impose "major" tariffs on pharmaceutical imports.
Speaking at an event, the US President said, "We’re gonna tariff our pharmaceuticals … we’re going to be announcing very shortly a major tariff on pharmaceuticals."
This development comes as the pharma sector was earlier spared from the heavy taxes announced but the US President.
