Donald Trump has praised Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and General Asim Munir while announcing a Gaza peace plan. The US President referred to the Pakistani leaders as "incredible" for their support. According to Trump, both the Prime Minister and the Field Marshal of Pakistan were supportive of the United States from the beginning. He stated, "The prime minister and the field marshal of Pakistan. They were with us right from the beginning, incredible, in fact, they just put out a statement that they fully believe in this pact." Trump added that he received notice that Pakistan backs the agreement "100 percent" just as he was walking out for the announcement. The praise came in the context of what the White House has presented as a 20-point peace plan for Gaza.
