The feud between deputy CM DK Shivakumar and Union minister HD Kumaraswamy intensified with mutual accusations of corruption. Kumaraswamy, active in the Channapatna padayatra, accused Shivakumar of forcibly acquiring a site in Sadashivanagar and engaging in illegal granite mining. In response, Shivakumar had earlier accused Kumaraswamy of amassing wealth improperly.
