In the Disha Patni house shooting case, two of five shooters from the Goldie Brar gang have been killed in an encounter in Ghaziabad. The joint operation was conducted by the UP STF, Haryana STF, and the Delhi Police Special Cell. Foreign weapons, including a Turkish Zigana pistol and an Austrian Glock pistol, were seized from the two men, identified as Arun and Ravindra. It is reported these weapons were smuggled via drone. The Goldie Brar gang had claimed responsibility for the shooting on September 12. While two shooters have been neutralised, two others, Nakul and Vijay, are on the run. Speaking on the operation, the ADG of Law and Order of Uttar Pradesh said, "That is why we took it as a challenge and now we hope that no gangster will challenge the UP Police case again or test it."
