Dhurandhar 2: The Rule has taken the box office by storm, registering over 700 crore rupees in global earnings within just four days of its release. The film is nearing the 500 crore mark in domestic collections alone. This represents the highest four-day collection ever witnessed in the Indian box office. The massive opening follows highly anticipated paid premieres and pre-screenings. Following the film’s success, Arjun Rampal recounted his personal experience of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks at the India Today Group’s Hello Awards. Rampal shared that he was at a hotel on his birthday, 26 November 2008, when the attacks unfolded. He described how director Aditya Dhar narrated the 26/11 scene to him for the film, which Rampal felt gave him an opportunity for ‘revenge’ through cinema. The actor emphasised his patriotism despite playing a character that required abusing India in the movie.
