The investigation into the Dharmasthala mass burial case has intensified. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) produced the prime accused, a masked man named Chinnaya, before the court. The court has subsequently remanded Chinnaya to judicial custody. This development follows a major twist in the probe, centring on allegations of fabricated evidence. According to the investigation, Chinnaya is accused of presenting false evidence to mislead the probe. Specifically, "he has produced a fake evidence when it comes to the skull which he has produced in the court." A forensic analysis reportedly confirmed that the skull was not genuine.
