In Dharmasthala, Karnataka, human remains have been discovered at an eleventh site as digging operations continue. This marks the second location from which remains have been found within six days of the special investigation team’s efforts. Police sources confirmed the recovery from site 11, with forensic confirmation pending. Earlier, partial skeletal remains, believed to be male, were uncovered at site six. This was the first physical evidence from 15 locations flagged by a whistleblower, a former sanitation worker. The whistleblower claims to have been forced into burying and cremating several bodies between 1998 and 2014. Many of these bodies allegedly showed signs of sexual assault in Dharmasthala. The ongoing process aims to investigate these serious allegations.
