Operation Sindoor was launched by Indian armed forces to target terror camps in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir and Punjab province in response to terrorist attacks. The Indian Air Force struck camps in Muridke and Bahawalpur using precision-guided munitions. Pakistan retaliated with drone attacks on Indian military installations. The Indian Navy deployed forces in the Arabian Sea as a deterrent. Despite a ceasefire agreement reached between the DGMOs on May 10th, Pakistan violated it within hours. Significant casualties were inflicted on the Pakistani side, including downing enemy aircraft. Five Indian armed forces personnel and civilians lost their lives during the operation. Army commanders have been authorized to respond fiercely to any further violations.
