The Commission for Air Quality Management has decided to expand the ban on old vehicles to the entire National Capital Region, effective November 1st. The ban will affect diesel cars over 10 years old and petrol cars over 15 years old. The policy flip-flops have left car owners confused and financially burdened. Some have been forced to sell expensive vehicles at a fraction of their cost.
