Delhi’s electric vehicle (EV) buses are undergoing a colour change from green to saffron. Over 100 new buses in saffron and orange hues have been introduced. The Delhi Chief Minister stated, ‘There’s no such thing in any book that you have to drive only one colour. So, this is also an experiment.’ The move has sparked discussions about the political implications of the colour change, given saffron’s association with the BJP.
