Residents of Pocket F in Delhi’s Mayur Vihar Phase 2 are grappling with a severe water crisis, alleging that sewage-mixed contaminated water has been supplied to their homes for over a year. Speaking to India Today, locals displayed samples of the ‘dirty, stinky’ water, which they claim has caused health issues like diarrhea and allergies, besides damaging appliances. The Residents’ Welfare Association (RWA) representatives stated they have repeatedly approached the Delhi Jal Board and local BJP MLA Ravinder Negi but have received only assurances. They appealed to Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta to intervene and ensure the replacement of the decades-old pipeline network.
