A Delhi University student, Tripuraaz Sneha Devnath, who had been missing for 6 days, was found dead in the Yamuna River. Her body was recovered near the Signature Bridge. Police sources indicate she was emotionally disturbed and left a suicide note before disappearing. An FIR was lodged at Mehroli police station after her family reported her missing. The investigation involved tracking an auto driver who reportedly dropped her near the Signature Bridge. Her mobile phone’s last location was also traced to the same area. The NDRF team and Delhi Police conducted a search operation in the river for several days before recovering the body.
