The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is leading the probe into a major terror plot in Delhi, allegedly orchestrated by a ‘white-collar’ module of doctors. The investigation centers on Al-Falah University in Faridabad, which was reportedly used as a hub for planning serial blasts and sourcing chemicals. This probe followed a car explosion near Delhi’s Red Fort on November 10, 2025, which killed the suspected bomber, Dr. Umar Un Nabi, an assistant professor at the university. Investigators have arrested several associates, including Dr. Muzammil Ganaie, and seized nearly 3,000 kg of explosives in related raids. A diary found lists 25-30 additional suspects, and communications were traced to a Turkey-based handler codenamed ‘Ukasa’ via the encrypted ‘Session’ app.
