Investigators have traced the suspect, a doctor from Jammu and Kashmir, to the Faiz-e-Ilahi Masjid near Turkman Gate, which he visited just before the deadly car explosion. The probe is also examining the mosque’s connection to a faction of the Tablighi Jamaat and whether the suspect received final instructions there. India Today’s Shreya Chatterjee reports, ‘this is as the investigation unravels that on the day of the blast at 2.30pm is when this terror accused, Umar-un-Nabi, he visits the Faiz-e-Ilahi Masjid at Turkman Gate at 2.30pm, stays there for 10-15 minutes, subsequently moves out of there and goes to the E-5 parking of the Red Fort near the Suneri Masjid’.
