A multi-agency probe is underway into a deadly car blast near Delhi’s Red Fort that killed nine people and injured at least twenty. The investigation, involving the NIA and NSG, is focused on a suspected Jaish-e-Mohammed terror module of educated professionals, with one key suspect identified as Dr. Umar Mohammed. An FIR has been registered under the UAPA and Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. Speaking on the investigation, Delhi’s DCP North Raja Banthia stated, ‘The investigation is ongoing. There are many agencies of Delhi Police and other agencies are working on it.’
