The Central Bureau of Investigation is set to move to Delhi High Court against the trial court order discharging Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia in the Liquorgate case. The trial court had ruled that there was no criminal intent and no conspiracy in the matter. Despite this discharge, the investigating agency has decided to challenge the decision in a higher court. The development comes as the Aam Aadmi Party celebrates the trial court’s order. The legal battle in the Liquorgate case is set to continue with the CBI’s planned appeal to the Delhi High Court.
