Rouse Avenue District Court has discharged former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia in the liquor scam case, rejecting all charges against them. Speaking outside the court, an emotional Kejriwal stated that ‘truth always wins’ and expressed gratitude to the judicial system. He alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah orchestrated what he called independent India’s biggest political conspiracy to eliminate the Aam Aadmi Party by jailing its top five leaders. Kejriwal, who spent six months in jail as a sitting Chief Minister, and Sisodia, who was imprisoned for two years, maintained their innocence throughout. Kejriwal urged the Prime Minister to focus on addressing national issues like inflation, unemployment, broken roads, and pollution instead of targeting opposition leaders with false cases.
