On Lunch Break, the focus is on the easing of norms for the festive season in Delhi. The government has granted a two-hour extension for night festivities, allowing celebrations for Navratri, Durga Puja, and Ram Leela to continue until midnight instead of the previous 10 pm deadline. This extension, which will last until October 3, also applies to the use of loudspeakers, with a set noise limit of 45 decibels in residential areas. The decision follows requests from various organising committees. Mr. Manjinder Singh Sirsa stated on the matter, "…instead of 10 pm, you can use your sacred festival’s music, the loudspeaker, until 12:00 am…" The move has been announced, with political reactions from the Aam Aadmi Party and Congress awaited.
