Delhi CM Attack: Accused's 'Dog On Shivling' Dream, Travel Trail From Rajkot Revealed | India Today

New details are emerging in the investigation into the attack on the Delhi Chief Minister. The accused, Rajesh Bhai, travelled from Rajkot, making stops in Indore and Ujjain where he visited several temples on August 18, before arriving in Delhi on August 19 without a train ticket. While the attacker’s family claims he was upset over an order concerning stray dogs, the police are investigating the real motive. During interrogation, the accused made several statements, claiming he had fasted for animal welfare in Gujarat and for monkeys in Ayodhya. He also told investigators he "had seen in his dream that a dog was sitting on the shivling due to which the accused felt that Shivji has chosen him to raise the voice of dogs." Police are baffled by these statements and are analysing his call records and CCTV footage to determine if there was a larger conspiracy.
