A senior official from the finance ministry, Navjot Singh, was killed after a speeding BMW car rammed into his bike in Delhi. The incident, which was captured on camera, also left his wife critically injured. The victims were returning from the Bangla Sahib Gurdwara when the accident occurred. Following the crash, the victims were transported 19 kilometers away to a hospital in a delivery van, with no first aid provided. The son of the deceased stated, "The collision may have been an accident. But what transpired after that was a murder." The Delhi Police are investigating and have filed charges of death by negligence and destruction of evidence against the driver of the car, Gaganpreet Makar, who is yet to be arrested.
