The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested four more accused in the November 10 Delhi blast case, bringing the total arrests to six. The accused, identified as Dr. Muzammil Shakeel Ganai, Dr. Adil Ahmed Rathar, Dr. Shaheen Shaheed, and Mufti Irfan Ahmed Vagai, were previously in the custody of the J&K police and have now been taken into NIA custody in Srinagar. According to India Today’s Arvind Ojha, ‘in the case of Red Fort, all these accused have been arrested, including Lady Dr. Shaheen Shaheed, who is being produced in Patiala Court.’ The individuals are accused of playing a key role in the terror module and the attack near the Red Fort, which resulted in multiple fatalities and injuries. The NIA is now leading the investigation and will seek police custody of the accused to further probe the conspiracy, particularly the role of an absconding accused named Umar.
