The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has taken over the probe into a car bomb explosion near Delhi’s Red Fort that resulted in at least 10 fatalities. The investigation has uncovered a suspected ‘white-collar terror’ module with alleged links to the Jaish-e-Mohammed terror group. This network, believed to span across Haryana and Uttar Pradesh, involves several doctors connected to Al-Falah University in Faridabad. Key developments in the case include the detention of multiple doctors and the seizure of nearly 2,900 kg of explosives from Faridabad. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has stated that the agencies will get to the root of the conspiracy and that all individuals responsible for the attack will be brought to justice and will not be spared.
