India Today reports on a major terror plot bust involving educated professionals, with a Kashmiri doctor, Muhammad Umar, identified as the main suspect in a recent blast. The investigation has uncovered a Jaish-e-Mohammed sleeper cell, with links to a medical college in Faridabad, which was allegedly planning a revenge attack for the Balakot airstrikes, internally codenamed ‘Operation Sindoor’. According to sources, ‘this quite clearly seems to be a jash attack plan to avenge the killing of Masood Azhar’s family that happened during the Bahawalpur strikes, airstrikes that happened during Operation Sindoor’.
