This morning, the air quality around India Gate in Delhi was recorded at 362, which falls in the ‘Very Poor’ category, according to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).
Locals say that air quality usually worsens after Diwali. One person said visibility is low in the mornings, but breathing isn’t much of a problem. Another added that while cycling, they feel the effects of pollution and suggested avoiding polluting vehicles and wearing masks. Air quality is expected to improve in a few days.
