The India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasts a cyclonic circulation forming over the Arabian Sea, bringing extremely heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, and lightning to Karnataka until May 26. Bengaluru has already experienced severe damage and three fatalities due to the intense rainfall, including two electrocutions.
