NTR District Collector Dr. G. Lakshmisha announced that full preparations are underway for Cyclone Montha. Teams from local to district levels are on high alert and working in the field to handle any issues. Around 118 rehabilitation centers have been set up for people to take shelter. Vulnerable spots like old buildings, weak trees, and risky structures have been addressed or removed. People from landslide-prone areas are being moved to these centers. Medical, agriculture, electricity, and fire departments are also ready. The district is fully prepared to manage the cyclone carefully and responsibly.
