A Delhi Elder Friendly Survey found that 86% of elderly residents lack digital literacy, affecting their ability to access healthcare and online communication. The AgeWell Foundation study reported around 85% of senior citizens in Delhi NCR were digitally illiterate, with most feeling marginalised. India’s senior living market is experiencing rapid expansion, with 15,000 senior living homes likely to come up by 2030 at an estimated investment of 26,000 crore rupees. A report by Taylor in 2024 stated India will need about 20 to 21 lakh units for seniors by 2030, but only a few thousand are currently in operation. The show also covered organ donation awareness, highlighting that India recorded a four-fold surge in organ transplants over the last decade, from less than 5,000 in 2013 to nearly 20,000 in 2025.
