Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla rejected the allegations of switching off Rahul Gandhi’s mic, stating that control of the mic does not lie with him.
He emphasised that even opposition MPs know that the speaker does not control the mic, so ‘it would not be appropriate to raise these allegations.
