Congress MP Manish Tewari in Chandigarh said India’s policy must be consistent: if Pakistan is a state sponsor of terror, there should be no cricket with it. He cited Lashkar-e-Taiba’s record of terror attacks including Parliament (2001), Mumbai (2008), Uri, Pulwama, and Pahalgam. He questioned how IMF funds allegedly used to rebuild LeT HQ can coexist with cricket ties, insisting that “cricket and terror cannot go hand in hand.”
