The Delhi Police has made the fifth arrest in connection with the alleged disruption and shirtless protest by Youth Congress workers during the AI summit at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.
The accused, identified as Jitendra Yadav, was arrested in Madhya Pradesh’s Gwalior. Police said he is associated with the Youth Congress and was allegedly involved in the protest at the venue. The Delhi police produced the accused in court, after which the court granted two days police remand. Four members of the youth congress have earlier been arrested by the Delhi police.
