Reacting To reports of friction, Chidambaram states, ‘There’s no question of breaking away from the India alliance in Tamil Nadu.’ He highlights that while the All India Congress Committee (AICC) formed a five-member committee in December to initiate seat-sharing discussions, the DMK is yet to constitute its own panel.
