Joseph, the Managing Director of the Confident Group, has filed a formal complaint at the Ashok Nagar Police Station, seeking a thorough investigation into the circumstances and the ‘pressure mounted’ by the probing agency. Nagarjun Dwarkanath notes that the complaint highlights harassment by officials during raids that began on 28th January. Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar (referred to as Keshav Kumar in transcript) has alleged harassment by the probe agency and ordered a high-level inquiry. CJ Roy, a billionaire with projects across Bengaluru, Kerala, and the Middle East, was reportedly found with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The programme examines the allegations against the Income Tax officials and the ongoing police investigation into this high-profile case.
