CM Yogi Adityanath LIVE: UP CM Inaugurates Transport Services Through 1.5L Public Service Centers
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated transport services through 1.5 lakh Common Service Centres (CSCs) at the Indira Gandhi Pratishthan in Lucknow. The event marked the launch of several transport department initiatives aimed at enhancing public accessibility and convenience. Key highlights include the introduction of the ‘Saral Parivahan’ Helpline-149, the signing of Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with IIT Kharagpur and between the transport corporation and CSCs, and the launch of a new International Driving Permit booklet and the Digital Bus Tracking (Margdarshi) App. Additionally, CM Yogi flagged off 11 interceptors for road safety, distributed appointment letters to three women conductors under the National Rural Livelihood Mission, and digitally inaugurated and laid foundation stones for grant-based and PPP-model bus stations. Transport Minister Dayashankar Singh was also present at the event. These initiatives aim to modernize and streamline transport services across Uttar Pradesh, making them more accessible to the public.
