CM Revanth Reddy Makes Sensational Comments On Allu Arjun In Assembly Over Sandhya Theater Issue
The Telangana Assembly witnessed heated discussions as Chief Minister Revanth Reddy launched a fiery attack on actor Allu Arjun over the tragic stampede at Sandhya Theatre during the benefit show of Pushpa 2: The Rule. The stampede claimed the life of a woman, Revathi, while her son, Sritej, remains in a coma. The family reportedly spent ₹12,000 on tickets, a significant portion of their monthly income of ₹30,000.
Addressing the Assembly, CM Revanth Reddy criticized Allu Arjun’s alleged indifference during the incident. “Such people also exist in this world,” he remarked, accusing the actor of waving to fans instead of taking responsibility. AIMIM Floor Leader Akbaruddin Owaisi further alleged that Allu Arjun dismissed the tragedy with a callous comment, reportedly saying, “Now the movie will be a hit.”
The Assembly discussion shed light on Revathi’s final moments, where she clung to her son so tightly that even in death, the police struggled to separate them. CM Revanth Reddy questioned the film industry’s priorities, condemning its solidarity with Allu Arjun while neglecting the victims’ plight. “Why is the industry standing with him instead of focusing on the victims? Did his hand or leg break?” he asked, intensifying the criticism against the actor and the film fraternity.
